Title: Physician Assistant, Certified Physician Assistant School: Oregon Health & Science University Certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Lucia is originally from Guatemala and is a native Spanish speaker. She first moved to the Columbia Gorge as a teenager with her family in 2007. Her whole family fell in love with the Gorge and has never left. Lucia went on to pursue her academic goals including a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and more recently her graduate degree as a Physician Assistant from OHSU. She is thrilled to be back to the Gorge, which she considers home. Lucia values working in primary care and the opportunity to grow strong patient-provider relationships. She enjoys empowering patients by helping patients understand and take personal control of their health.
